Season 8 has started in Realm and there are few interesting features. If you don't know what this game is all about, check it out here.

Realm is a resource management game where you strategically utilize your NFT Leaders to save the world from devastation. Collect resources, unlock regions, build up your in-game RLM Tokens, level up your realm and much much more.

The devs have managed to pull it off, by introducing RLM in-game token staking the price is stabilized and not only that but is going up.

At the end of the last season the RLM token price was nearly 300 tokens per wax and now it's around 140 tokens per wax and still value of the token is growing.

All thanks to new rewarding staking system, off course.

There are 2 ways you can benefit from staking RLM in the game.

First is direct salary increase based on amount of staked tokens. For every 1000 staked tokens player gets 1 RLM bonus per day. So let's say I have 10k staked tokens (and I don't yet I just have 1800) I'll get 10 tokens per day as a bonus. That's 2 wax per month. Very very low income increase and it's not any incentive imo.

However the second way to benefit from staking are tiers.

There are 10 tiers in staking starting from tier 1 where requirement is only 100 tokens.

Benefit is Mission Rewards bonus of 2%.

Every new tier has greater benefits. As you can see from the image above, requirement for tier 2 is 1000 RLMs (that's where I'm right now) and Mission Reward bonus for this one is 4%.

On tier 3 where requirement is 10k tokens you get Mission Rewards of 6% and Boost Duration of 5%.

This goes up for every tier.

On tier 6 things are getting more interesting since you are starting to get NFT Reward Chance of 2%.

Here is entire list for higher tiers.

As you can see higher tiers introduce Blend Costs reduction and Absorb Cost reduction. But the requirement are also insane.

Btw 1M tokens for tier 10 is around 5250 wax or $300 so not everyone will get that far, specially beginners.
