Jalen Hurts, QB1 for the Philadelphia Eagles at the electric home opener at Lincoln Financial Field, put on a show for the ages. In fact it was reminiscent of the faithful Monday night 12 years ago vs the Washington (then Redskins) Commanders, led by legendary leftie Michael Vick, Desean Jackson, and Jeremy Maclin. 

Fast forward , 12 years later, we have witnessed history being made yet again. Hurts had 333 yards through the air connecting with wr Quez Watkins on a 53 yard score , and also spreading the ball. With devontae smith catching 7 passes of his 7 targets. hurts  spread the ball across the offense evenly and even bulldozed  for 2 ,tds rushing on the ground.

The defense had a takeaway party, with Darius Slay locking down pro reciever Justin Jefferson, whom had exploded against Green bay a week earlier. Eagles 2-0 on the year.
