WAX Blockchain game Dark Country has kicked off their Hero sale today.

From the information I was able to gather Dark Country is a CCG/TCG that will feature player tournaments with a dedicated prize pool, as well as a variety of game modes from classic CCG to auto-battler. As with many blockchain games, each player card is an NFT on the WAX blockchain with proven ownership and scarcity.

It should also be mentioned that Dark County will eventually feature a multichain framework. This is a fantastic feature and something we're going to see more and more of in the future. To understand the direction that the development team plans to take the game here's a peak at their road map.

Being in Q4 we see the game is behind their initial development schedule but have now launched their Hero Sale and pack opening event. This is good news to see the game moving in the right direction, and we can anticipate the public beta will be next up.
