Rising Star
A music career simulation game that sees players starting out as buskers playing for pocket change, and gradually building up a fan base and playing larger and larger gigs. Did I mention these gigs are paid gigs? Players earn STARBITS tokens for playing gigs, a 2nd layer coin build on the HIVE blockchain, tradable on exchanges such as Hive-Engine.
The lead developer has been working diligently at adding new features and collectible cards. Wait did we mention there's collectible NFT cards, well all your instruments and even your band mates are digital collectible assets with scarcity that can be traded on the internal Rising Star market. Rock on!
Holybread
An RPG questing and arena battle game that sees players compete with 1, 2, or 3 hero's simultaneously, leveling their skills and equipping the best gear in all of the lands. Players earn loot drops from completing quests which can be equipped or sold on the internal market for the cryptocurrency HIVE. Questing is an idle game with each quests taking a specific length of time to complete. Purchasing and using Bread, an in-game currency can speed up the rate at which quests are completed.
Holybread has recently been purchased by a new team of developers who have been working hard at re-writing the entire code base in order to bring about some much anticipated upgrades to the gaming experience. A brand new game experience known as Holybread Seasons is currently in closed Beta testing and should see public play in September 2020. I've personally been involved with play testing the Season 1 Beta and let me tell you this is a whole new ball game. We're talking all new stats, hero proficiencies, gear drops, and the introduction of dungeons which are going to be a hit. Now is a great time to jump into the game and get ready for Holybread Seasons!
Splinterlands
The largest and most successful blockchain game to date. Thousands of players battle daily to climb the ladder ranks and earn season end rewards. This is a TCG battle game with a large collection of cards that has seen a number of expansion since it's inception some 2 years ago. In addition to PvP there is a tournament system that sees new games daily with prize pools where players can earn DEC, a 2nd layer coin build on the Hive blockchain and tradable on exchanges such as Hive-Engine.
If you're into collecting cards and battling opponents this may be a good place to start. The basic deck is free to play but you dont actually own the cards. All cards you acquire from that point onward are owned by you and live securely in your wallet. This game is fun but expensive, if you wish to compete among the top of the ladder expect to invest thousands of dollars into building your card collection. Thankfully there's an internal and multiple third party markets where players are trading their cards, digital NFT assets. Splinterlands has integration with both TRON and Ethereum.
Cryptobrewmaster
A super fun beer crafting game, players spend their time in a crypto brew master village where they have access to a brewery, a pub, and a number of other buildings soon to be unlocked. CBM is still in beta but the game looks great and is very functional. Players can earn crafting ingredients though an idle game found within the pub, those ingredients are then used to craft beer which can be of a varying degree of quality. The aim to craft the best beer possible, known as Outstanding, which will require some outstanding quality ingredients. Once your fresh brew has been crafted you sell you beer to the pub for your friends to consume and you're rewarded in a cryptocurrency known as CBM, a 2nd layer coin built on the Hive Blockchain and tradable on exchanges such as Hive-Engine and others.
The team behind the game has also used their audience and game as a platform to launch an actual real life beer brewing initiative. Currently CBM is fundraising for their second brew, potential investors can purchase a minimum investment of $100 USD worth of CBM tokens and expect a 20% return within a few months time, how awesome is that! This is truly one of the most unique and innovative blockchain games in the world, get in early, you'll be glad you did!
dCity
This city simulation game has experienced incredible growth over the past months part in due to the ability for players to earn a return on their "investment", and the constant rate of development that sees exciting new features added to the game regularly. Players purchase cards that are digital NFT assets, each card contributes to your city's success by either providing population/workers, producing income in the form of SIM tokens, or even producing other NFT digital assets and cryptocurrencies. There are cards available in the game that allow players to mine other 2nd layer Hive tokens. SIM is a 2ns layer Hive blockchain token that is tradable on the Hive-Engine exchange and others.
Players can purchase random cards through the game using HIVE or SIM tokens, alternatively players can select and purchase specific cards that are for sale on the internal or external 3rd party markets, these cards being sold by other players. dCity has somewhat recently introduces a governance system, where player can vote on a dCity president using a stake weighted voting system. Players holding more SIM tokens having a stronger and more influential vote. The president is able to control and manipulate certain aspects of the game such as various taxation rates that have an impact on players ability to earn income with specific in=game digital assets.
