The former CEO and founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao "CZ," has been moved from jail to a HalfWay house where he will spend the rest of his jail time, to be finally released on September 29.

CZ still has 38 days to fully complete his sentence of four months, which was attributed to him for crimes Binance committed when he was CEO. Changpeng Zhao, from his full name, is an entrepreneur who started his business as if nothing was happening, sold his house for Bitcoin, and, together with a small team, started Binance and transformed it into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise.

Binance, the crypto exchange, is today the largest platform in the field, spread all over the world with more than 500 employees distributed around the globe, and it soon plans to increase the number to 1,000 after complying with its duties and paying $200,000,000 in fines to keep providing its customers with a secure and transparent place to trade.

Changpeng Zhao is well-known throughout the cryptosphere, where he established his empire and is one of the billionaires in the space. He is also the most visionary entrepreneur who paid a huge price to make Binance grow so big in a relatively short period of time. That created a whole squadron that wanted a piece of him, and it’s no surprise to see him in jail today.

While he's in jail, a fresh lawsuit is being prepared that claims the former CEO didn't do enough to prevent criminals from laundering money on the platform. You see, they’re still hunting him down even when he's in jail. If that isn't persecution, then I don't know what it is. Remember:
