We finally got the next message update, and it isn't the good news we were hoping for.

FCoin doesn't have the basic necessary backup plan to protect their own back-end, so they have to build the site from scratch from an old version.

They say all assets are safe, and give a path to getting funds off the exchange via email (yeah, the safest way to interact). Who knows if fast means a day, week, month? There is panic in the forums, and many share the sentiment that it could also feel like a stall tactic for an exit scam.

For many, this could be the end of their time with crypto. For others, there is a loyalty to FCoin that leads to blind faith. I don't know if that is earned or deserved.

We will all wait and see.
