There's a new earn & learn opportunity on Coinbase but it's not as straightforward as the old ones.

It's called Vara Network and it gives you the chance to obtain up to $24 by completing 5 tasks.

The first two tasks are pretty simple, the other three aren't.

First, there's a simple quiz, that's an easy $3.

Next, you'll have to download the SubWallet and set it up, send some VARA to your SubWallet and use it to mint an NFT.

This'll cost a few cents, but it'll give $5 as a reward.

And that's where it gets tricky. And quite frankly, a tiny bit frustrating.

You can win an additional $6 ($3+3) by playing games on the Vara Network.

There are two issues with that.

First, the games are boring, and clunky. For example the racing game, you have to approve a transaction for every single move, which doesn't make for the best gaming experience, and it costs a few cents each time.

Second, I tried playing for 5 minutes. Still no reward.

So I gave up.

The biggest reward will be gifted to you after you stake 150 Vara.

I'm not gonna do that either, chiefly because the only way to have 150 Vara to stake is to complete all four tasks, which I won't.

Still, 5 minutes worth of work and I get $8. Not bad.
