Circle, the company behind USDC, is raising the bar ahead of its IPO.
The company originally said they were aiming to raise between $400 million and $500 million but now they're saying it's going to be $896 million.
They made the announcement today (June 2nd).
According to an SEC filing, Circle now plans to offer 32 million shares priced between $27 and $28 each.
They originally planned to offer 24 million shares at $24-26.
Circle is the second-largest stablecoin by market cap (after Tether USDT), with a market cap of $60.9 billion.
I'm always a bit wary when it comes to crypto firm shares, but that's probably because I understand crypto, I don't necessarily understand the stock market.
