Years back, I had a very bad experience with my bank that made me analyse and start wondering what really government want for their citizens. They got my account locked and froze all my money until further notice. All that was done due to a mistake they did, confusing my name with one that was under investigation for money laundering.
Since that time, I promised myself that I will not let them control my finances and start using my money in a decentralized manner. Fortunately, I found Bitcoin Cash at the time. This situation with my bank made me learn a big lesson: to not let my financial freedom get controlled by a third party, as that is a receipt to disaster.
Many people nowadays still let their finances get controlled and monitored by banks run by the state, who doesn't want their citizens to use their money as they wish because the same money is used by them to support their government affairs with people paying taxes and use (by banks) to lend others without even the consent of the customer. They use users' money to make more money for themselves, and with a small or non existent mistake, lock, freeze, and let the customer drown in their own imbecility.
They do that because they can, and it's up to the customer to understand and start using currencies that they can control by themselves and become their own banks. People shouldn't in any way be manipulated by the government using banks to do their dirty job, but until clients understand this need, the banks will continue to hurt and play with them. I am glad that I took the decision to close my bank account and start using Bitcoin Cash for all my needs and pay for what I want using the currency.
All I needed was to find and use channels that accept Bitcoin Cash in my location and start building a decentralized economy supported by crypto. That wasn't easy at all, as people were skeptical at first to start using Bitcoin Cash to pay for their products and services, but slowly they got onboarded, and today, some of them are still receiving Bitcoin Cash in their businesses.
One of the most active persons to continue receiving my Bitcoin Cash is my dear friend who operates a construction yard to send it to his family in Portugal. Storing cash in a bank account and letting it gain dust with a possibility to get locked and all proceeds frozen is a bad idea. People should start seeing that government isn't people's ally but their worst enemy. Governments don't produce money, and all they do is accumulate taxes paid by their citizens and use all strategies to get it done.
When they, for example, accuse someone of money laundering, his cash is locked, the case goes to court, and when they "prove" it is coming from "bad business," it all goes to the government vaults. I don't trust the government to control and manage my money, as they aren't trustful and always have a second agenda. People who trust government officials like banks end up bad and can lose all their money.
I still remember the case of Marc De Mesel, who sent a considerable amount to his girlfriends in Kenya. That money was locked, the accounts of his girlfriends blocked, and after two years of court, all that money was seized by the government ruling that the money came from "dubious business". All government lies and he lost more than a million dollars on that Bank play, and still people believe that banks are institutions to trust. No way. Use Bitcoin Cash instead to free up your finances and start building a better future.
Banks are crooks and not to be trusted. Bitcoin Cash is more viable to break the chains that we need to secure our own independence for a better future. Use it, spend, and replace.
