Celestia's Airdrop (TIA) arrives. To keep an eye on.
The TIA token, following the launch of the Celestia mainnet, will soon be available for trading on exchanges such as Bybit, Binance and Bitget.

Bitcoin's rise has actually revived attention around the altcoin market. And what better than "airdrop" sounds to the ears of a nostalgic investor? Probably nothing, which is why it might be worthwhile to cast an eye on the TIA token listing, in parallel with the launch of the Celestia network. The Celestia network aims to build a "modular blockchain ecosystem" and is preparing to launch its mainnet. Specifically, the listing will take place at 3 p.m. (Italian time) on October 31 in 2023, on most of the major exchanges, such as Binance, Bybit, KuCoin and Bitget (and with the remaining ones in watchful anticipation).
Project developers have stated in the past that they would distribute 60 million tokens to early adopters, but it isn't still totally clear how much of the remainder'll consist of.
Airdrop-eligible users were able to apply for tokens from the beginning of September until October 17/2023, and individual allocations even increased due to the lack of "applicants" for the claim.
For Binance, TIA trading will open, according to the official announcement, at 4:00 p.m. (UTC) following the distribution of the token to more than 600 thousand wallets that participated in the launch, while for Bybit and Kucoin the token'll be available for trading from 2:00 p.m. UTC. Since the funding round in October last year, led by VC firms Bain Capital Crypto and Polychain Capital, there remains $55 million and a small amount of cash traded in "futures" on cex such as BitMEX and dei such as Helix, with the November-December maturity products trading at around $3.
However, considering the actual illiquidity of the asset (about $1,000 in 24h as volumes), the listing could result in a completely different price.
Celestia has declined 4.56% in the last 24 hours. The current ranking on CoinMarketCap is #102, with a market capitalization of €316,834,444 EUR It has a circulating bid of 141,043,528 TIA and the maximum bid isn't available. Will it increase in the future?
