General News:

• Brave Team will be at ETH Denver 2023 from February 24 to March 5.
• Luke will be the guest of a Twitter Space hosted by WhaleCoinTalk on Thursday, February 2, 2023 1:00 PM. - Recording.
• Brave is planning to do a brand refresh in Q1.
• Brave Swag Store: The team is working through the last policy related points and everything should be lined up for the much-awaited store's relaunch. Once Brave's rebranding is completed, new designs will be released in the store.

BAT Community:

• NFT Burn & The Sage: The latest news from Cardinal is that it will likely occur during the first half of February.
• Carlos Acevedo, Nikki & Batearn are working with Luke Mulks on Web3 gaming partnerships. This year, gaming will be a matter of focus to bring more BAT utility.
• February 3rd: Twitter Space this Friday with KikiVerse at 1pm ET. They're building a Watch 2 Earn platform. Once it launches, they'll join the Brave Wallet Partner Program. KikiVerse is a Solana project, but they're also expanding with a small free mint NFT collection on Ethereum. KikiVerse's team will be giving away two free WL mint spot during the Space!
• February 10th: Twitter Space with Viking from BAT & Brave Indonesia.
• February 17th: Hubble Twitter Space (DeFi Protocol on SOL).
• Brave's Artist, Guilherme (aka @Kaos), is hosting a cooking contest in the BAT Brigade. Winners will receive BAT and other prizes. Find more info at https://discord.com/channels/839283762843484192/839283763296075779/1067846178819022948.

BAT Ambassadors:

• Bauzz published an article about some interesting Brave features & tips that you might not know about such as !bang commands in Brave Search and background video playback on mobile: https://www.publish0x.com/brave-products/brave-tips-for-getting-the-most-out-of-the-browser-new-user-xozypew.

Brave Ads:

• Search Ads Beta: Several search ad campaigns are running for users who haven't opted into Brave Rewards. The team is analyzing data from the Beta and studying metrics, such as the click through rate (CTR) percentages. They intend to use their findings to improve keyword relevancy and refine search ads. Beta will be opening up to Brave Rewards users later on. The Ad Sales Team is working on bringing in a more diverse group of advertisers to supplement the amount of crypto advertisers (Ledger, eToro, etcetera).
• The team is in discussion with different channel partners from the EU, US, and Latam. These partners are likely to buy Brave Search inventory. It takes some time to onboard them because Brave wants to ensure they meet Brave's privacy preserving standards. Getting them onboarded will bring a substantial source of revenue for Brave.

Brave Wallet:

• Next blockchains to be implemented will be UTXO based chains: Bitcoin, LTC, Doge...
• Solana dApp support is available for Brave Wallet Android (version 1.47).
• There are some discussions with dApps and with Brave Wallet on-ramp partners to bring BAT liquidity on the BNB and Polygon blockchains.

Upcoming Events:

• BAT Brigade Weekly Trivia will be this Friday February 3rd, 2023 at 12:00 pm ET. The event occurs in the Event section of the BAT Brigade Discord server. Participants can win sBAT for correctly answering question. There is also often some BAT given out to community members just for participating.
• BAT Community Twitter Space is happening this Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Kikiverse.
