Now I watched a film by Swedish director Björn Runge with great actors Christian Slater and Glenn Close. This is a film about a great female writer who wrote books instead of her husband, with whom she lived in marriage for 40 years. The man was just a good writer and professor of literature. The woman always remained in the shadow of her husband. Who got all the laurels. She was a faithful and caring wife, a good mother and ... wrote books instead of her husband. The husband was selfish and capricious, weak and demanding ... I myself am just that, just not great and not a writer.
The wise wife was satisfied with everything, or she pretended that she was satisfied. But only as long as she once again did not catch her elderly satire-husband rushing for a young girl. And then she was furious and showed who is who really. And she did it with all merciless efficiency. To which only an angry woman is capable. She struck her blow that evening in Stockholm, when her husband was to receive the Nobel Prize in literature.
As a result, everything ended badly, with the tears of the winner herself. This is probably the lot of all strong women. Fight with a man and defeat him, and then sit down in a corner and roar ...
This is probably the most common and far from new story in world cinema. But there is a difference, this time the film was made by a Swede, which means that the traditions of the great director Bergman come through in this film. And these artistic, leisurely, Scandinavian smoothness and attention to detail made the work interesting and captivatingly beautiful. Beautiful mature northern European beauty, discreet and fascinating.
I recommend this movie and ... try not to annoy your second half. Who is closer to us, he knows all our secrets and weaknesses. It is he who will cause maximum harm if he wants to betray.
