Splinterlands: Opening more CHAOS packs but was it really worth it?
I was saving on my potions to open 200 CHAOS packs and finally, I am able to open 200 packs and added 1000 cards to my decks, I already upgraded the Summoners like Tarsa and Keyla are now upgraded to level 6 rare summoners. Obsidian was already upgraded to level 6 earlier and my Genera Sloan is at level 5 and I need a few more cards to upgrade it to level 6 and Thadius Brood is at level 4 but I have one more at level 4 at my alt account and since I have Waka Spritblade and Astral Entity already at the desired level to play on Gold league so I am not worried about the leveling up the Thadius Brood and actually thinking if I get some good amount the summoner Octavia Shadowmeld in the rewards.
Apart from the summoners, I leveled up many cards to strengthen my decks as I am currently facing too stiff competition in winning the match so I decided to upgrade my decks to max potential as in last season I was not even to make up to even Gold 1 league also.
Did opening pack was really profitable?
Actually, this is my one of the worst pack openings. I purchased a lot of pack earlier so my buying cost is high but even if I still considered the current price of CHAOS packs in Hive-engine, they cost $1.3 packs and overall 200 packs will cost $260. But when I checked Peakmonster to analyze my pack openings the card I received is of $256 only.
It is a direct loss of $4 and there are a lot of unwanted cards also in pack openings. In this, I do not add the potion cost which also amounts to $70.
I guess for the time being, I have to stop opening the packs as I am already got my max limit on my many cards so opening more packs cause me to add more unwanted cards.
