Kiedy Park odda Żyrafie głowę?
Today's December walk to the park, as usual, led past the Giraffe, which has been standing there without a head for many years. It was dismantled a good few years ago for renovation and has not been heard from since. I wonder how long this will last, how much longer this stump will haunt.
Dzisiejszy grudniowy spacer do parku jak zwykle prowadził koło Żyrafy, która od wielu lat sterczy tam bez głowy. Zdemontowano ją dobrych kilka lat temu w celu renowacji i słuch o niej zaginął. Jestem ciekawy ile to jeszcze potrwa, ile ten kikut będzie straszył.
In the park, apart from that, there was a beautiful spring atmosphere, plus 8 degrees and sunshine, which is really great for the end of December. There were a lot of people walking, which is not surprising at all. People were sitting on benches and taking off their jackets.
W parku poza tym piękna wiosenna atmosfera, plus 8 stopni i słońce, to na prawdę rewelacja jak na koniec grudnia. Sporo spacerowiczów, co wcale nie dziwi. Ludzie siadali na ławkach z zdejmowali kurtki.
The birds were fed traditionally, many of them came because they had a large selection of different nuts. And they prefer them much more than classic grains.
Ptaki tradycyjnie nakarmione, przyleciało ich sporo bo miały spory wybór różnych orzechów. A wolą je znacznie bardziej niż klasyczne ziarna.
Over the pond, of course, another beautiful sunset. And the sun is already higher and higher on the horizon.
Nad stawem oczywiści znowu piękny zachód słońca. A słoneczko już coraz wyżej na horyzoncie.
