Gorąca środa, a to dopiero zapowiedź upałów

The forest was the only place today where we could feel a bit of a pleasant temperature. The nights were relatively cool, and the forest retained this chill until late in the morning. Even around 2 p.m., the walk through the forest was still very comfortable.

Las to dzisiaj jedyne miejsce, gdzie można było poczuć trochę przyjemnej temperatury. Noce są stosunkowo chłodne, i las kumuluje ten chłód do późnych godzin porannych. Jeszcze około godziny 14-stej spacer po lesie była bardzo komfortowy.

But stepping out onto hot asphalt or concrete is already a challenge. And this is just the beginning of the heatwave, as it's expected to peak this weekend. I think I'll escape to the forest and a Jurassic river.

Ale wyjście na rozgrzany asfalt czy beton to już jest wyzwanie. A to dopiero początek upałów, bo apogeum ma nastąpić w weekend. Chyba ucieknę do lasu i nad jurajską rzeczkę.

I visited the bird feeding area. Young tits are starting to appear. They're very skittish, and I'm far from comfortable hand-feeding them, but over time, perhaps by autumn, they should become somewhat tame.

Miejsce karmienia ptaszków odwiedzone. Zaczynają pojawiać się młode sikorki. Są bardzo płochliwe i daleko mi do karmienia ich z ręki, ale z czasem, może już jesienią powinny być trochę oswojone.

It's hot here, but my plants on the balcony are in paradise. It's the perfect temperature for these exotic varieties to grow and ripen.

Nam jest gorąco, ale za to moje roślinki na balkonie są w raju. Dla tych egzotycznych odmian to idealna temperatura do wzrostu i dojrzewania.
