Chicken is widely considered a healthy food due to its nutritional benefits and versatility in meals. Chicken breast is low in fat and calories, making it a good choice for those focused on weight management or heart health. However... today we gave a twist to a classic and cooked Fanta infused chicken wings! This recipe is playful and perfect for casual gatherings or adventurous meal nights. Enjoy the combination of citrusy sweetness and savory spices!

In addition to its protein content, chicken is rich in vital vitamins and minerals such as B6 and B12 and support energy metabolism and brain health. The niacin is good for the skin and nervous system health, while the phosphorus makes strong bones. When prepared healthily, through grilling, roasting, or baking, chicken offers a heart-friendly option due to its relatively low saturated fat content compared to red meats.

I went for healthy and air-fried my wings, but not before marinating them overnight! Cooking Fanta-infused chicken wings is a fun and flavorful way to create a unique dish with a sweet and tangy twist. You will need ... Fanta and chicken wings!

Prepare it and marinate the wings for at least few hours. Clean and pat dry your chicken wings, then season them with a mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

My marinade was made from a can of Fanta, mixed with a bit of soy sauce and honey. I placed the wings in the marinade then had it in the fridge overnight to fully absorb the flavors.

Chicken is gentle on the digestive system, making it suitable for individuals with dietary sensitivities or those recovering from illness. Combined with other nutritious foods like vegetables and whole grains, chicken can be an essential part of a wholesome diet. Guess my side dish? I went for a basmati rice, dusted gloriously with turmeric and smoked salt.

You can bake, grill, or fry the wings based on your preference. If baking, preheat the oven and cook the wings for at least half hour. Don't forget to flip them halfway through for a top crust. The Air Fryer is one of the best modern inventions, reducing the cooking time to absolutely everything. Less mess and crunchier meals! 

You can go further and glaze the wings by reducing the leftover marinade until it thickens in a saucepan. When it's tick enough brush it over for an extra burst of flavor. Why not garnish with sesame seeds or chopped spring onions, and serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauces.?
