I'm sure you've come across many different types of Microgreens. It was not until my husband advised we grow it, that I started researching the benefits thereof.
What are Microgreens?
Microgreens are young vegetables, herbs, or plants. Think of them as the baby leaves to their mature counterparts.
After about one to two weeks of germination, they are ready for harvest. Whilst all microgreens are rich in nutrients, their nutrient content may vary depending on the type.
Not only do these greens look pretty, making it the perfect garnish, they are also packed with nutrients. Chinese Cabbage is rich in Vitamin A and C.
Studies show microgreens have up to 40 times more nutrient content compared to the full-grown vegetable or herb.
