Hello,
Let me start off by introducing myself or what my name means. I am A.M. Styles (All My Styles). I have been writing for a few decades now. I am a self-publish author with several books under my belt. I will admit the first few books could have been written/edited better but during those times when I published the books I was traveling and writing when time allowed and I didn't have a team to help make sure the grammar was correct or that spelling was correct.
I don't write in one genre of topics hence the name. The name not only refers to my writing but my overall abilities in different areas such as ex-music producer, songwriter, graphic designs, Information Technology, Inspirational Speaker, Pain Advocate, Consultant (Business, IT, Writing, Etc).
I have always believed in owning all my material/content, especially after some of my work was stolen/or used without permission. Some have claimed the material they released was theirs until I showed proof of when it was created along with the type of style I write which is like a fingerprint. I have worked for big companies giving them ideas to which their revenue increased behind my ideas. The agreement with these companies was simple; I couldn't tell anyone that I was the brain behind the idea and they would compensate me as long as I kept my mouth shut. Some of those ideas I could not use myself because I lacked the funds to bring the ideas to life, so I settled for the peanuts to ensure my family needs were met but deep inside I hated myself for not seeking more than what I was given. I learned my lesson after those companies changed management styles and forced the creative people out of the company. I did get very nice severance packages but inside I still felt short-changed.
I moved on and started my own business/company to where the focus is on owning everything we create. We tell our clients that they should always own their content so that they are in control of their cash flow and not someone else.
This is just an introduction to those that have seen me comment on different posts to understand who I am and what it is I do. I am here to learn and also offer help when I feel my experience can help benefit those that are looking to take control of their content.
