Just a quick update.
I've had my ASIC running for just about a month now. I've talked about a little bit about this in earlier posts here and here.
Today marks a milestone, a small one but a milestone nonetheless. My little mining machine (should I have a poll on what to name it?) has now mined enough for a whole million Satoshis to be deposited to my Lincoin account. While it's not a substantial amount, I'm quite excited to be underway on this journey and if things go well I will be adding more machines to my collection in the future.
While this endeavor is, and hopefully remains, profitable I also think it's important to take part in running the network if you believe in it's future and you have the means.
That's it folks. 1% of an entire Bitcoin. A small amount but I'm happy with it.
