February of the last year, I have just been cruising along STEEM (before separated with HIVE), and not bothered with any other places. Starting this year, I have started looking through all perspectives of the crypto world, visiting platforms I have never heard before.
Before I start to describe any platforms, I want to talk a little bit about how I got into what I am doing right now. I am not a person good at investing. Last time I jump on the gun and throw my real money around was in stock markets at the end of 2007. Well, we all knew/remembered what happened during 2008. I was in my second tour to Iraq, watching the stock market dropping like flies at nights, it made my daily duties in the front line looked like cake walks. Man that was brutal.
I’d rather like to work for the rewards. Being in the military, we must go to National Training Center at California every summer when we were not in the theater. That is a place with nothing but sand. My job required me to travel back and forth between the civilization and the sandbox. With that perk, I was able to purchase soda, cigarette, and shampoo, and sell them to my follow troopers.
I am not a bad decision maker; but putting the real money on the line makes me to conclude wrong choices, a lot. So with crypto, I can earning them by blogging, trading owned coins, clicking on faucet, etc. I don’t really need put down hard earned cash. I know, I know. I won’t get much profit without investing; but until I am fully experienced with it, I still have a way to play safe.
OK, now it’s the time for the juicy part of this post. Please keep in mind that everything I will write below are pure my opinions. We live all over the places in this village called Earth, our cultures, educations, believes are all different, so does our opinions about crypto/blockchain platforms.

They used to be one. Bad blood happened, now the user groups split separated way. This was where I started. I am not going to talk too much about these two; most people here probably know these platforms.
Do I like to use them? Absolutely. Do they have problems? Definitely. Without powering up your tokens, over have friends with a lot of voting power, you cannot get anything. If you somehow pissed some power tripping people? See the downvote coming. Until today, if I post two actifit report in a row, spamnator will start downvote my posts/comments. Why I don’t know. At least it was only 0.25%, so it does not hurt me. I just live through it. It will go away after several posts. So life goes on…

To be honest, I’d love to like it. Decentralized platform, no ads (I use Brave, I don’t see ads at all. I assume there is no ads), unlike Youtube; earn cryptos by just watching videos daily; not to mention many categories of reward. I remembered that I had read a post here talking about $1k+ revenues from this platform. Everything just seemed perfect.
However, I have a big problem with the loading speed. I have a 300 down/20 up internet. Though it is not top notch, but it is decent for anything I do with networking. But with lbry.tv, I will have to sit here, watching the loading circle spinning around, around, around…
I just go to the site watching some Genshin Impact videos each day, and earn my daily token. I am sure many people would have no problem with the speed. I don’t know why I have such the bad luck here.

It would easily be the most admin friendly place I have visited. Their engagement with normal users like me is awesome. Their might need to improve their technique to eliminate spammers, but they are just in beta. I can see the potential.
Like I said from previous post. They haven’t had their ICO yet. Everybody is collecting their token, XTM, at this moment, and waiting for the real price drops. This might stop some people to join since there is no “real” value yet.
Noise.cash
I have not really built myself there yet. If you really like twitter’s concept, but hate twitter’s governing, then this is the place. The layout of the graphic user interface is clean, loading speed is fast. I skim through many “noises”, I can see people could make a good chunk of BCH there.
For me? I am afraid that I am too wordy for that place.
LeoFinance
Part of HIVE blockchain, a good part of it. I hate myself that I sold my leo when the split happened. Now I have to restock them up again with a much higher price. I have a dilemma about using it though. Most of my posts on HIVE are in Mandarin Chinese, and I mostly post in HIVE CN community. I don’t want to abandon my home court, but I doubt many people would read Chinese on LeoFiance.
Womplay

This is a game platform, players can earn EOS by competing a shared reward pool with their own tokens, Wombucks. Wombucks can be earned by completing daily tasks or downloading/playing games. I normally do not like this type of websites. First, they make you install a whole bunch of bad games, that you would play once just for the point and forget about it. Second, you reward would probably be some Google Play or Apple Store credits. Good ones have Amazon gift cards. I don’t buy stuff from Google play or Apple store. Amazon gift cards are great, but it still limits where I could spend the reward with.
I am not saying game collection in Womplay is the best. However, they are not trashy. It has some flash like quick play games that really hit my childhood memories. I do like to play some of their mobile games as well.
So what is the issue of this platform? I have two Google play accounts. One is used to bundle with my Bluestack simulator. To be honest, I am not going to install these games onto my real phone. I accidentally opened the wrong Google Play account when downloading a game. I did not get any reward for anything I did in that game. Is that a Play store bug or Womplay’s bug? I don’t know. I’m not the programmer there.
I seriously thought I could win $2 in the last reward pool. I was doing good the second last day. after a full day of work, I logged in the web site again. Wow, I have dropped to $0.21. Don’t these people even go to work or stay here all day long?
Faucet
I had said in my previous posts (https://www.publish0x.com/akuma/my-crypto-journey-january-xwqvxej). I hate faucets. Tedious jobs for tiniest rewards. No to mention, scams. For example, I tested https://fly-doge.com/free, and had earned 50 DOGE coins. It would be nice to withdraw them before the DOGE pump, right? No, I could not get anything.
However, if somebody like the prospect of RPG elements, some faucets might be good for you. I personally recommend FaucetCrypto (https://faucetcrypto.com/ref/647706), minimum 500 coins to withdraw with 50 coins of withdrawing fee. The upper limit depends on your level.
I know Contiply (http://cointiply.com/r/P9OO0), Firefaucet (https://firefaucet.win/ref/440595), and Final Autoclaim (https://autofaucet.dutchycorp.space/?r=warmstill) are all popular. However, I have never withdrew from them yet due to a higher minimum withdrew limit. Therefore, I cannot recommend them yet.
Below is a list of faucets we only need to deal with once per day. None of them have minimum withdraw limit, they will transfer token to your address right the way (minimum the transaction time). You can also set up email notification, so that you don't need to log in all the day just to see if your timer is up.
