Last week I discovered that Coinbase Wallet was hosting not one but two free NFT series currently available to claim. Both NFT series have no minting fees or gas fees at the time of writing. And now, as of yesterday, the third NFT from the Onchain Summer series is available to be minted, too.

If you haven't started collecting these free NFTs from Coinbase, all you need is a Coinbase Wallet and to follow the link in the banner announcements under the blue transaction buttons in your wallet. The "Claim your free NFT today" link will take you to the "Getting Started" NFT page, where you'll find both the Onchain Summer: Coinbase Weekly Collection and the ABCs to the Cryptoverse series. As of late last week, three of the the ABCs series and the first two of the Onchain Summer series were all still available to be minted, so you may still be able to snag all six NFTs in total if you're just starting today.
As I mentioned above, these two series are currently available entirely for free - no minting cost and no gas fees. The Onchain Summer series is celebrating the launch of the Base mainnet and is therefore minted on Base; the ABCs to the Cryptoverse series is minted on Polygon.
