Good morning.
Well today I have been looking through my old notebook of projects that we looked into and dismissed which was quite good fun. These were mainly DeFi projects we researched and this post is just for fun and to see if we made the right decision to not invest in these protocol's. When I look through this book I see hours and hours of research, notes on people involved in the project as well as notes on the audits.
As my blog is about the journey and for us to look back on, I will document it. Also it will be interesting to see if any of them were actually good projects. We did dabble a little in some DeFi projects and even came out in profit on a few, but on the whole it was something I was not too keen on.
In my opinion, even with the profits we made from the DeFi protocols I found it to be very time consuming, to the point where sleep was not easy as you would be constantly looking at charts and social's to try and see when there was a large sell or even a rug pull. We had to be constantly on the ball. We never invested huge ammounts in these as we knew it was an even higher risk than most of the token's we were investing in.
I know most things are down so it may not be a bad protocol or project but just something we chose not to invest in.

No, just no, I said there is no way I am even going to research this and I didn't. I think David kept his eye on it for a while and I used to see the adverts for the fee less blockchain they were building, a couple of times I even thought 'I bet this is the one that will do well'.

As always, thank you for reading and feel free to comment.
