My first year on PublishOx.

My first year on PublishOx.

Good morning.

Today I am celebrating my 1 year anniversary here on PubOx and to be honest I have loved it. I did skulk around for a bit, just reading others posts but I knew when I joined that I wanted to publish our Helium journey. As I had made notes about what was happening and how we felt (I did not want to forget the highs and lows, the struggles and the fun). I had those notes in an envelope for at least 6 months before I plucked up the courage to type them up with the intention to publish them. I even remember someone asking me how may views I expected to get and my reply was maybe 50 friends and family. To have over 150 followers may not be much to some but to me it is amazing and something I did not expect. I am not a daily writer but I do try to post once a week, so although I am happy with this I may try and write more often.

When I look back on some of my first post's I do think I should have wrote it differently/better and in my opinion my writing has improved which is another plus. I posted no pictures because I did not know enough about copyright and what I could and could't use, but I got some excellent advise from a PubOx user, did some research and voila......pictures!

I have found the community here to be amazing, helpful and interesting and such a mix from OG's to newbies. The comments and words of wisdom I have received from people are much appreciated too.

Our Crypto journey evolved so much and so quickly after Helium that it feels like l have been here a lot longer. We were erratic at first and definately had a touch of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) as well as a sort of plan that has evolved to a solid plan. We dabbled in DeFi finance and nodes with small amounts and learnt some valuable lessons. I document everything we have done for prosperity sake but I don't feel that I can write educational posts about crypto as I am still learning!

I feel we have a decent portfolio now with the ratio of BTC to alts but there are a few more that I would like to add as well as some of the small cap gems (still looking for that.............please feel free to leave your ides in the comments!)

I have written 72 posts

My total earnings are $27.36 or $0.38 per post

Lifetime dislikes 9

My 3 most viewed posts

My least viewed posts are my 'Free fun money' posts ( I will still do these for our records mostly.......when I am rich it will be fun to look back on lol).

So in summary I may not have earned as much as some, but it is something I enjoy so your stuck with me, I will keep trying to improve my content and writing skills. Hopefully I will have exciting things to write about as our crypto adventure progresses.

As always thank you for reading and don't forget to drop a comment with the name of that token to make us all rich.
