Good morning.
Well I am sure I don't need to write about FTX as that has been covered well by many and as I know it must be an absolute nightmare for some people and I feel their pain. I guess some people have lost a lot and some will just no doubt give up on the crypto space altogether. I was not expecting this as I am sure others were not either.
Now rightly or wrongly we have used this as an opportunity to buy, buy, buy. In fact in the last few days we have doubled our portfolio. I am not looking for short term gains, at the moment the bag is being stacked ready for the next bull market. I have not had much time at all to research so the tokens we have brought are pretty much the same as what we already had apart from some chilliz (I know zero about it but it was David's pick of the day and I trust he did some research on it!) and some XRP which I have been looking at for ages but did nothing about it. We had a discussion a few days ago about buying Solana as I still believe there is some potential there in the future with the Saga phone/ Tmobile/Helium thing. I know the market will be flooded with Solana in the next few days so it will be at a low price so it might be worth a punt.
Most of our tokens are currently staked untill the new year and my plan is to learn more on trading them, so far the only trading we have done is with HNT as we are still earning it daily from our miners and with the price it is at, It really isn't much of a loss if we get it wrong.
We have been in a few protocols on our crypto journey that were just plain ponzies, some were rugged and some just failed. We have had a few wins too so it is not all bad, but it does seem that no matter how much I research a project sometimes you just never know. I thought both yield nodes and stablefund were good solid projects but that was not the case. Both of those are wait and see, we have money locked and will have to wait for version 2 of both to see how it pans out.
What I am more confident in is having a good bag of good tokens ready for the next bull market, with a good percentage of BTC.
What would the smart move be now, is it buy or wait, what will you be doing?
