Wrapping up the lists.
#1 Discover your passion
I admit that I don’t know, how it works in the case of other people, although I cannot track a lot of my passions too - how something becomes a prevailing and deep-running passion that lasts for a long time?
I rushed to emphasize that it has to run deep because I had a lot of very passionate, but in hindsight very superficial special interests throughout my life. When you are into Finnish or Romanian language, but never learn them in a notable depth, because that’s work, and there is inherent laziness in you, and you are so in awe so cannot concentrate anyway. Crazy, but this is a thing, ’been there, done that’ as the saying says. Now I am on my way to clean up the mess I made from these superficial but very passionate encounters, and learn some of these notably amazing languages along with some music or literature to place it.
Also, I began to write posts in English in this blog – until this time I just could use the language at work (very simple and useful phrases, a lot of redundancy, even is I try to make it more versatile) and read – newspapers, blogs, even books or science articles, but in the majority of the cases always with a dictionary at hand.
#2 Repair relationships
Well, as I mentioned before, in my life there are some relationships to repair. Even though I don’t think that all the relationships are meant to be repaired, there are some, that is. The tricky in this, that one has to tell them apart.
#3 Change the world
This sounds a little bit funnily big. „The world”, „humanity” and such things are often mentioned in speeches and articles, and in a lot of cases turns out, that the only result of using these words and phrases was that: in the end, no one feels to be called. ’Big stuff is for big firms, big decision-makers, please leave us alone with the world, the humanity or the ecosystem, when no big decision-maker is to stand out with a good example, only the small ones are exercised all the time’ – we think and go for our work.
#4 Find a new hobby
Even though a lot of adults, thinking to be funny telling ’adults don’t have hobbies’, that’s not true. You won’t be a metaheuristic, crazy dweeb, if you are interested in something that does not yield profit or not something casual, mundane relaxation like seeing the movie that everyone has already seen, go to talk a little while having some booze, or sit in front of the TV. These are okay, but as I’ve mentioned, casual relaxing stuff after work.
All the people I try to learn from, have hobbies, interests, have fun in a way beyond these everyday circles.
#5 Be happy
And to the end, the biggest boom! This is a very fruitful topic, as it is so abstract. How’s a person happy? What is happiness? How it works, how it takes place in time? Is someone happy all the time? If now you are sad for half an hour, you’ve screwed it up? No. I think happiness, just like the other abstract, big phenomenon, love is everywhere, even besides its counterpart, hatred, sadness, or anger. If it works, it does not drown in these other also strong, but negatively labeled, sometimes destructive emotions, but keeps them at bay.
Happy holidays for everyone<3
