Everyone Wants the Next 100x Coin. Almost Nobody Is Looking for the Next 100x Habit.

Everyone Wants the Next 100x Coin. Almost Nobody Is Looking for the Next 100x Habit.

All crypto cycles begin with the same opening. All crypto cycles have the same opening.

A few hundred dollars are turned into life-changing money.

The X screenshots are spread. The X screenshots are spread over screenshots.

YouTube is filled with videos of “the next big thing.”

And then all of a sudden they think the real challenge is selecting the right coin.

I also had the idea that too.

After months of reading crypto news, following markets and successful investors, I noticed something interesting.

The people who stay successful hardly ever speak about "the next 100x.

They discuss their schedule.

Crypto Rewards Consistency More Than Intelligence

It is never necessary to guess all the pumps.

Do not have to buy all meme coins.

You need consistency, but that's all.

Patience is a peculiar virtue in the crypto market.

Many people will drop off after one month of poor performance.

Those who remain tend to appear "lucky" next year.

The Hidden Habit Most Beginners Ignore

Think of all the things you could learn in a day, rather than checking the charts every five minutes.

Now you know about stablecoins.

The other day, you will know what Layer 2 networks are.

Then you find out why wallets are more important than exchanges.

All of these lessons begin without any excitement.

However, when they come together they completely alter the picture that you see in the market.

Just like money, knowledge only accumulates.

FOMO Is Expensive

Probably more money has been lost by crypto investors due to fear of missing out than due to bear markets.

We've all seen it.

A coin is currently over 300%.

Social media is in celebration.

All the sudden, everyone is an expert!

Typically, new players come on board at that stage.

Not because the project changed abruptly.

Because attention arrived.

Often the market celebrates the early ones not the loud ones.

Build Systems, Not Predictions

Instead of asking:

Which coin will I purchase?

Try asking:

What are the steps for researching projects?
So what is the significance of blockchain?
So, why have the developers chosen to carve out a space here as opposed to elsewhere?
What is the problem that this protocol solves?

These types of questions have nothing to do with going viral.

Nevertheless, they make better investors.

My Personal Rule

One rule I have begun is to follow.

Whenever I'm out looking at prices, I spend another hour learning something new.

There are some days when it's tokenomics.

Other days it's AI and crypto.

Other days, it's just reading what smart builders are saying.

Does not ensure profits.

It's a promise of progress though.

The Next Bull Market Will Look Different

Winners are made in every cycle.

The previous time it was NFTs.

Then DeFi.

Then meme coins.

The rise of decentralized infrastructure, tokenized assets, and AI is attracting interest.

The lesson is not to be totally accurate about future.

Its purpose is to continue to learn so that we are prepared for the future.

Final Thoughts

The next 100x opportunity may not be the right coin.

Perhaps it's the news that investing can be so lucrative that you have to be an early adopter.

Markets change.

Narratives change.

Technology changes.

The benefits of good habits continue to accrue.

Perhaps this year you'll invest in nothing at all!

It'll be learning daily.

Question for readers:

If you could improve just one crypto habit, what would it be?

Mine would be spending less time chasing hype and more time understanding why projects matter.
