Bubbles

By M.B.Endsley | My Poetry | 20 Nov 2020

It was He who first broke the light,

From His tears the rainbow first filled the sky.

Blue-green, orange, and purple from white

White that is light in its purest form.

From the tears of God all colors were born.

Dozens of hues (red to blue) float within her sight.

Giggling she reaches for shiny, prismatic lights.

That laugh that became my first true delight

Is of innocence and bubbles born.

The untouched heart of my little girl - love in purest form.

Bubbles that glitter and gloriously shine

In yellows and greens from her hand to mine

Stand as witness to our Maker's design.

From unspeakable pain her bubbles were born:

The gift of the Father in purest form.
