Are we in a diagonal or not? That is the Question, and the answer should come really soon. Early in the month I started tracking a potential diagonal and so far it behaved as expected, but we still need a fifth wave completing the pattern :

If we are in a true diagonal, the fifth wave should be shorter in time & price compared to the 3rd, so there are limitations active for this wave : should end BEFORE Jan 31st 21:00CET and canNOT travel above 0,4613 on my exchange neutral chart (I don't care if it goes higher on some exchanges). It's pretty common for a diagonal to overthrow the diagonal trendline and then reverse. If we do not respect these price:time ratios we are NOT in no WAY dealing with a diagonal. If so then you have the option of a triple zigzag, but of course that 3rd zigzag is in that case optional, so market may not need that higher high that we really need in the diagonal scenario. Or is the advance actually an impulse that already completed on Monday? That is an option but I like the diagonal count better.

Anway, IF the diagonal forms it will be most likely a leading diagonal. Correction after a diagonal can be shallow, but in this case at the start of an upmove I would expect a pretty nasty but healthy correction. That correction would be the last opportunity to buy XRP at these prices, so that is my plan if that opportunity comes.

As for my purchases in late December/ early January (for instance HBAR ALGO EPX DAG ENJ LCX LINK OP ICP ATOM GLMR CSPR CRV ENS FLOW LDO HNT), most of these coins are up huge since I bought them and it is probably a nice place to take some profits off the table, profits that can be reinvested after a pullback. I would certainly not advice you to buy right now.

Let me end this quick update with the big picture for XRP :

On a daily chart the potential diagonal is almost invisible, that's okay... the size of a diagonal is not important. In case of a diagonal it wasted about 1 month, that is okay... it may correct for a week or so, and that leaves enough time to moon. As I stated before, moon mission should have been completed before April 19th.
