tl;dr: All documents will be verified on a blockchain. The ones that aren’t will be the ones you can’t trust.
In the years to come, this one will be obvious.
Instead of having multiple copies of a document, notaries, or even electronic signature services like DocuSign, written contracts will be certified by digital key signing.
Those transactions will be tracked, audited, verified, and stored in a blockchain.
I have no connection to Proxeus, which is described as:
“open-source software allows users without specific programming skills to digitize complex document templates, connect them to a business logic and make them available to third-parties – for free or for a fee. “
In other words, document workflows will have a higher level of trust because each step will reside on a blockchain and at a lower cost, because you won’t need to pay DocuSign or PandaDoc.
Probably not ready for prime time yet, but you can take their demo for a spin right now.
