America and Nigeria form Alliance to Fight Crypto Crime

America and Nigeria have launched an alliance on Illicit Finance and Cryptocurrencies. This group launched for counter cyber-crime and illicit finance. They specially activities on involving digital assets, like cryptocurrency.

Now-a-days, digital finance activities expand globally.This joint alliance, combined with U.S. Department of Justice and Nigerian authorities. The main goals of this group is to enhance cross-border cyber-crime investigation capacity.

The group’s formation also related with the recent release of Tigran Gambaryan, who is the head of Binance’s financial crime compliance. He has been detained in Nigeria since February on charges of money laundering and currency manipulating.

The Bilateral Group aligns with U.S. goals to advance safe cyberspace. They solve challenges posed by digital asset transactions.

According to the American State Department, the collaboration aims to coordination between the two countries. Also reinforcing Nigeria’s ability to investigate and prosecute cyber crime. They also resolve crypto-related financial crimes.
