A Victorian council or local government is now looking at giving plants a version of human rights or "plant rights". They want to ensure the legal rights of nature are respected in all government decision making. My first question is, is this the left wanting to now speak on behalf of plants and trees too? They already say white people, males and other so called oppressors or colonialists cannot comment on matters involving gender, race or equality as they are not victims or oppressed. I would assume using this narrative, that no one can speak on behalf of the obviously oppressed trees?
If you can take a moment, please watch this video and then comment on this (to me anyway) utter madness. I hope if enough people speak out, and particularly, the so-called silent majority. It's time to be heard. The world is very clearly going very, very woke.
Some are calling a "unusual legal idea". I would call it utter stupidity.... "Mornington Peninsula Council considers unusual idea"
I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Do you agree? Am I silly to disagree with these plant rights?
