Microsoft wants to be a part of the current craze Metaverse. The announcement of the 3D Avatar for team meetings at the Ignite conference indicates that. Adding an animated personal avatar for the team meeting (Mash for Team Project) has already started a kind of metaverse-journey of Microsoft.

You can use both VR headsets or HoloLens from a smartphone to access Mash for Team. Microsoft official John Roach wrote in his announcement that Microsoft is more open about its Metaverse productivity play. It is designed to make online meetings more personal, interesting, and fun. This is a gateway to Metaverse.

Alex Kipman, a Microsoft technical fellow, says Microsoft's goal as an organization is to improve the quality of work and make employees more efficient. We have been working on the issue for 12 years to meet the demand of our customers.

Katie Kelly, Microsoft's chief project manager who works with Mash for Team said, ‘We want to closely follow Microsoft’s AI technology so that we can use the camera to pinpoint where your face is and resonate with your head and facial movements.
