3 Dead After Bus Rolls Over in Canada’s Jasper National Park


Three people are dead and several others are seriously injured after a glacier sight-seeing bus rolled over near the Athabasca glacier of the Columbia Icefield in the Jasper National Park of Alberta, Canada. Spokespeople of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stated that 27 passengers were on board and the 3 dead are all adults. As of now, no names have been released, and next of kin notifications are underway. Police investigations with the support of collision analysts are now underway.

According to local reports, the incident happened at about 13:00 local time. Helicopters chartered by Parks Canada transported the injured to a triage site, then 3 air and several ground ambulances from the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) transported patients to various hospitals in Alberta.
