Mountain village of “Makesh” in Talesh- Iran – Green ever after
It was a stopping-by-only place for us mostly because every year, we passed by this village and went higher to “Qaargol” village which is much more impressive.

But as we came here, I realized how I’ve been missing out each year and this uncanny scenery can’t be found easily.

My satisfaction wasn’t with trees anymore, I was upon boundless greenery, a bright new sensation of spring that had filled all the surroundings with white sprouts, red tiny ladybugs and so much more.

It was a nice appetizer for “Qaargol Lake” we were going to visit next week but so unexpectedly amazing indeed.

I got fond of rural houses, the way people warm themselves up with firewood and it was hot inside when in the afternoon, it started to rain so bad and it went so under attack by storm, that all the place became a gloomy wetland.

I’d heard about it but it was the first time I was seeing this in person, the unpredictable weather of mountains…

One minute it is sunny and delightful… it gets hazy and huge dark clouds just show up out of nowhere and fog happens… and boom… it rains…

I Love the Mountain Villages as we call them in Persian “Yeylaghi”…
