A very hard and troubling reminder of those days were flying bullets, that took the lives of many, as the protestors were running or even just walking on the streets. The dreadful part was as if bullets would choose their victims randomly. Like they would hit at everyone they didn’t like …

I remember brightly that I was walking on one of the crowded streets, people were moving around in chaos, screaming, shouting and chanting, I was also raising my voice to my utmost ability like everybody else, then suddenly I heard a very loud noise as if a bullet fired toward me and hit the railings in front of my feet. I was so engrossed in the horror of that terrible day that at the moment it did not even occur to me to stop. I just heard the sound of the hard metal striking and saw the place it hit in a millisecond, just a bit further… I almost got shot, but it missed. Was it meant for me or not, I don’t know.

That is the most horrifying thought, imagine you are walking and screaming your believes, and just at that moment, a hot lead bullet rips through your chest and … those around you scream…

Neda's Death: The Iranian Video that Moved the World
The videos are very moving and disturbing, I advise you not to watch them if you don't have a strong heart.
This was the story of an endless day that was full of blood, fire, smoke, excitement, fear, and disbelief. It was getting dark and a lot of us survived, exhausted but worse, we saw things, we wouldn’t imagine being possible otherwise.
I mean I knew our government to be brutal, but to the extent, they would go to stay in power, I was in shock back then, not anymore.
The events of that day changed a lot of my points of view and even more, they changed me…
