In the forests around the village of Hawiq, in Gilan province, one of the most traditional areas in northern Iran, there are two waterfalls close to each other, which are known as the Zomorrod "AKA Emerald" twin waterfalls.  One of the twins is bigger and more watery and the next is less watery and smaller.

The small waterfall is stepped and consists of two steps with a height of 4 and 8 meters. It is worth mentioning that the height of the big waterfall is about 15 meters.

A waterfall that, from a height of 15 meters, pours the clear water of mountain springs into a pool and creates a magical atmosphere for swimming and enjoying the moments.

I have visited this waterfall many times. To reach it, you have to cross a winding path through the heart of the forest. Then climb a high tree-covered hill and then descended a steep, rugged slope.

When you are crossing the wooded forest, the screams of the people gathered around the waterfall, as well as the constant splash sound of the water, is a good sign that you have reached your destination.

I well remember one of the days we went to the waterfall. One summer day, the noise of the crowd gathered around the waterfall could be easily heard.

Several families were scattered around the waterfall and people's garbage could be seen underfoot. I thought to myself: “I wish we humans could look at ourselves and see how destructive we are!”

I took off my shoes and walked barefoot on the rocks in the river to collect garbage. From broken glass to bags of chips ... I also got some kids to help me in wishful thinking that maybe they grew to become less like their parents!

Until I reached the pond under the waterfall. Several men were swimming in it and it was really fun in this hot summer weather. I dumped the garbage I had collected in the already overfilled trash bin and jumped in the water involuntarily.

My companions were surprised that a woman had gone into the water. It was while several naked men were swimming in it, and this itself was a sign that women should be ashamed and won’t enter the water. Maybe an unwritten rule! I did not care. And I went in anyway.

Maybe they do not like it! I did not care. I had to get to the waterfall and dip my head under the passionate streams of water so that I might forget that I am from the human world.

One of the gentlemen who came with his wife liked my work and find it courageous! and took some pictures of me. His wife was standing by the water, holding their baby.

While taking the photos, he proudly told me that he was able to take some photos of me in which none of the naked men can be seen.

I wanted to tell him I don't care if those naked men are in the picture. I was not ashamed to stand in that roaring water. I was at the peak of joy in at that moment ...

Understandingly, If I start writing about a million times-heard boring stuff, there is always a chance no one reading my materials, so I try not to go down that road, but I feel like costumes, cuisine, and traditions I’m about to unveil are worth reading about. If you think about it, humanity is a very diverse concept wrapped around the same nature, dancing around the same instinctive fire, but oddly enough its exposed face is as varied as the droplets in the ocean, unbelievably diverse.
