What is loneliness? (Poem)

Loneliness is a feeling of wanting to be wanted
A feeling of wanting to be needed
A feeling of longing for joy and happiness
And hoping for finding an escape from the darkness

It is a feeling that makes you feel trap
It is a feeling that makes you want to scream for help
It is a feeling that surrounds you from all sides
Until there is no hope for light in a life

It is a feeling that can’t be seen by others
Until one finds the courage to face loneliness
And overcome it

Loneliness may be a feeling of darkness
But it still has some light on it
One’s may not see it
But it may just be a test or an obstacle
To test our courage and bravery

Loneliness is a feeling of wanting to be wanted
A feeling of wanting to be needed
A feeling of longing for joy and happiness
And hoping for finding an escape from the darkness

Or it may just be a test to value what’s important
Or it may be a lesson to test what you treasure
It may have a different meaning to different lives
But loneliness can be a trap of darkness
Or a lesson of value based on us
