On this solemn day, we remember well, The story of love and sacrifice to tell,

Of a man who gave his life for all, So that we may be saved from sin's enthrall.

His path was one of humility and grace, Of kindness, forgiveness, and a loving embrace,

He suffered greatly, with thorns on his brow, And nails through his hands, a cruel death, but somehow,

His spirit endured, and his love shone bright, Even as he breathed his last in the dying light,

For he knew that his sacrifice would bring hope, And that through his pain, we would learn to cope.

And so on this Good Friday, we gather 'round, To remember the love that in Christ we found,

To reflect on the gift that he freely gave, And to honor his memory in the way we behave.

For through his sacrifice, we find redemption, And a love that reaches beyond comprehension,

A love that we can share with all we meet, To spread hope and joy, and make our lives complete.
