The government's wallet is tight, As they hold onto every last mite,

They cut budgets with all their might, And watch as citizens suffer in plight.

Schools and hospitals face a crisis, As the government's money seems to be priceless,

They ignore the people's cries and hisses, And continue to act like they're lifeless.

Roads and bridges are in disrepair, The government just doesn't seem to care,

They ignore the public's need for repair, And continue to hoard their money, unaware.

The poor and needy are left to suffer, The government's wallet is just too rougher,

They turn a blind eye to the other, And let them fend for themselves, it's tougher.

The government's stinginess is a tragedy, Their unwillingness to spend is just a fallacy,

They ignore the people's need for amnesty, And keep the money for their own dynasty.

It's time for change, a new approach, For the government to stop being so reproach,

To listen to the people's needs and encroach, And let the money flow, without any approach.
