The winds howled through the night, As the frost storm raged in all its might,
A month into spring, and yet so cold, The world transformed, a sight to behold.
The trees and bushes, once in bloom, Now covered in ice, a frozen tomb,
The grass and flowers, now a ghostly white, A winter's grasp, that wouldn't take flight.
The streets and sidewalks, slick with ice, A dangerous journey, not very nice,
As people braced against the chill, Their spirits sinking, against their will.
But amidst the frost, a glimmer of hope, As the sun broke through, with its radiant scope,
A promise of warmth, a sign of spring, A new beginning, in this icy fling.
And slowly but surely, the frost gave way, As the world emerged, from its icy stay,
The flowers bloomed, in their rainbow hue, A sign of life, that forever rings true.
For in every storm, there's a silver lining, A chance to grow, amidst the pining,
And in this frost storm, we found our way, To a brighter future, a warmer day.
