There once was a dog named Fred,

Whose bark was louder than the sled.

He'd howl at the moon, And sing a big tune,

That echoed, and echoed, in the shed.

This dog, he loved to play fetch,

And would chase after sticks, without any sketch.

He'd wag his tail, And never bail,

Until he'd found it, and put it to rest.

But one day, as he chased a stick,

He got lost in the woods, oh so quick.

He sniffed and he barked, And he looked and he marked,

But couldn't find his way, so slick.

Just then, a little bird flew by,

And said "Fred, just look to the sky!"

And there, in the distance, He saw his owner,

with persistence, And ran to him, with a joyful cry.

So if you're ever feeling lost, my friend,

Just remember Fred, and his happy end.

Just look to the sky, And don't be shy,

And you'll find your way, around the bend!
