As I wrote in a previous post about me believing that Elon Musk is working towards ultra clean mining of cryptocurrencies.

News just came out that the financial services and digital payments company Square Inc. will partner with blockchain technology company Blockstream to build an open-source, solar-powered Bitcoin mining facility in the United States.

“Square intends to invest $5M in the facility, with Blockstream providing infrastructure and expertise to build and manage the project. The facility will be a proof-of-concept for a 100% renewable energy Bitcoin mine at scale, with the economics of the build-out—including operational costs and ROI—made open to the public.” - Blockstream press release [1]

This is great news since Elon Musk continues to dump the crypto market. One can only wonder when he plans to use Solarcity for something similar. What do you think, please let me know that you think in the comments below.
