These are quite old photos - a few cameras ago, when all I had was a point-and-shoot and about 2 or 3 megapixels to work with. Yet, they are proof that the largest part of the equation is the person, not the equipment.
The subject is a body of water called Shear Water in Wiltshire, England. I love contrast photos, especially seasonal ones. Here, we have the boats all ready for the summer rush, but it's still spring, as you can see by the leaves still unfurling on the trees.

This place is a favorite place to walk dogs or take children for a nature walk. It's surrounded by forest full of interesting paths. Obviously picnicking, fishing and sailing are other outdoor pleasures enjoyed here.

Photos taken by myself in 2007 with my point-and-shoot (can't remember the brand now.)
