I know this should have been submitted yesterday, but I got into a video that I'm pretty sure will be removed from YouTube before long...
My girls are twenty something and thirty something.
Any time that I have tried to tell them about the hardships of farm life in a small town they would always respond: "Yeah, Dad. We know. You had to walk 5 miles to school barefooted in the snow. And it was uphill both ways."
Of course none of that is true. It doesn't snow in south Georgia. And I did wear shoes to school and church but not many other places.
Life was hard but not as hard as they thought my portrayal was.
