Gloves? Check. Mask? Check.

I finally got my mask from Amazon last week and I'm ready to go. There are a couple of down sides to it: I can't wear my glasses and have to focus through one eye or the other; people in small towns look at me like I'm an idiot. My mask is a lot better than some of the things that I've seen on people of Walmart. At least my mask covers my face unlike this guy:

In all seriousness, though, I do, in fact, have a drywall mask that's rated as N95 and nitrile gloves.

I use the mask whenever I'm doing more than cutting a small access hole and whenever I go into attics with blown-in insulation. I wear the gloves whenever I'm doing work with aluminum wire because of the anti-oxidation compound that we have to use and whenever I'm hanging ceiling fixtures to keep from smudging the paint.

I got this mask a few months ago from some vendor on Amazon. It's comfortable, washable and comes with 9 or 10 replaceable filters. I think it was about $25 making it much cheaper than a 10 pack of regular masks from Home Depot.

While I don't wear this mask all the time, I do wear it when in stores. Hopefully this will come to an end soon.

As for the plague mask, I think the effect would go much better if I had a trench coat or duster with the collar flipped up.
