Earlier this year there were Valentines Day Block Explorers given away to players who had preregistered to buy $5 worth of UPX, in a time slot lottery that started in the morning of February 14th.

 Of the 3 types of BEs, 500 of each were available and sold out within the hour  with some players able to purchase all three, and some not getting to purchase any.  The secondary market price for this small set of Block Explorers (1500 total) immediately saw prices of 25000 upx according to offers and agreements heard on discord, even before they were tokenized and accessible to the winners. amid the mistakes.

This BE set was not without the odd comment and controversy. The chocolate heart emoji was quickly and purposefully mistaken for a poop emoji.  The “In Love” Heart with an arrow was easily confused in meaning and imagery with the heart emoji that from the summer of 2021 (1955 of those were minted) and therefore not very unique.   And last but not least, the Cupid drew the most controversy with his eerie neutral expression on a not-very-cherub-like adult head, an oversized diaper, and casually glancing over his shoulder as if he was seeking approval for the twerking that he was captured in the middle of... All of these block explorers can be found in the metaventure stores, and on the BTS channels as well. They are one of the lower priced BE series due to the five factors generally considered: mint size, date of issue, method to acquire, and most importantly for many- the overall likability of the block artwork itself.
