The Surfing Leprechaun.   On St Patricks day that fell on March 17, 2022, Upland held a special scavenger hunt contest that players could register for under the treasure hunt menu.  The hunt involved solving clues that would lead to certain addresses in the Bronx, and sending their Explorer to those locations to grab treasures.  The Fastest 100 players to complete the hunt would be awarded the lucky surfing leprechaun Block Explorer.   Players formed various hunting groups across discord, as well as in upland’s scavenger channel, and worked together to solve clues.  Some clues involved morse code, coded letters, missing letters, and requiring google searches.  Many of the answers had to do with St Patricks day and Irish traditions and knowing this made the clues faster to solve.  Each location had a unique green treasure box with the final hunt location being a piñata.   Most of the players lucky enough to win this Block Explorer are not parting with it, because it took hard work and fast typing to earn it!  You can occasionally find one of these 100 leprechauns in the metaventure stores or direct via the BTS channels if you are feeling lucky!
