The full quote from the Book Common Sense 2026 by Jack R Forge goes like this:
"You say you want your side to win so the country can be saved, Tell me again how the country gest saved when half of it's citizens become your enemy the day you do."
Now, I love history, have read the original Common Sense by Thomas Paine written and published on January 10th, 1776. What a revolutionary book. Now, time will tell on the impact if any that Common Sense 2026 will have on the world, published literally 250 years after Thomas Paine published his.
Now, I am just liking the content of the book, I love the attempt at a foundational, non biased book on the subject of the current affairs of the United States of America.
In a lot of ways, at least in my opinion, the book and it's attempt to look at things objectively is how I look at cryptocurrency. I mean, if we drink the Kool Aid of the yes crypto crowd and go all in without restraint, that would likely be foolish. Also, if we drank the Kool Aid of the never crypto's then we would not have the opportunity to invest and have a chance in the market all due to blind allegiance.
Not everything we feel or think is accurate, sometimes our emotions lie to us. Sometimes they do not. Understanding when we are accurate more often that not, will help us make healthy and wise decisions. Compromise is good.
