Well well well, the inflation process is starting to decline. This is really a positive marker in the grand scheme of things. Things are moving in the right direction. I remember my first post about inflation was back at the beginning of 2023 and talked about how the "disinflation process" had begun. Well, for those following inflation, here is an article that talks about the smallest rise in inflation in two-years: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-annual-inflation-slows-june-consumer-spending-solid-2023-07-28/
The market has generally been down since late 2021 for fiat and cryptocurrency. I have chosen to write a lot about positive markers regarding cryptocurrency. I do not always talk about it, but I am thinking about cryptocurrency from a systems perspective through a psychological lens. I have talked and written about viewing cryptocurrency from a non-emotional perspective. I like facts. the fact is that some cryptocurrencies will make people rich. The fact is, a lot of the tens of thousands of cryptocurrencies will make some poor and will make many lose a lot of money. I may even be one of them. I have invested money that I can lose (don't want to) without harming myself or my family. However, I do not invest lightly. I have chosen to write about some cryptocurrencies that I believe (through what appears to be evidence) are solid and have some substance to it.
Many regard Warren Buffet as a investing legend, and his history seems to back it up. One thing I have consistently read about him over the years is that he invests in companies with a solid foundation. That is not a new idea, and nothing profound. BUT, to many people try to complicate the uncomplicated. I think investing in cryptocurrency is similar to this. Why invest in a flash in the pan, why invest in the hype? I never buy the highs, NEVER. If I am feeling a strong emotion about a cryptocurrency, I do not invest at that time. I wait, put it back on the shelf so to speak and come back another day when emotionally regulated.
What does this have to do the inflation rising the least in two-years? It has to do with trusting facts, trusting real information, and trusting there is good things ahead if you can see what is there for all to see without the emotional blinders on.
As inflation decreases, spending and confidence will go up. When crypto is regulated in the US, confidence and adoption will go up, I believe those are facts. Remember, they said the internet was a fad, that no one would use it. Remember, online shopping was niche, no one would use it. The same will be for some cryptocurrencies. The economy will rebound, especially when we get politicians in there who know what they are doing (sorry Biden fans, business wise he is a fool).
Here's to hoping I picked some of the right ones. I believe I have hit and will hit on some (I know not all) and believe I will in the end make some money, and if lucky, become a crypto-millionaire!
