The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will hold it's first meeting of 2024 tomorrow, January 31st.

The dates with stars mean there will be a summary economic projection provided.

You can find articles on this with a simple internet search. A summary of what I have read is that the expectation is for the fed to keep interest rates the same tomorrow and then lower then at the next meeting.

If the fed lowers interest rates tomorrow, expect (in my humble opinion) the stock market and cryptocurrencies to go on an upward trend. 

It appears after a long period of economic problems with high inflation, the covid pandemic, and general poor policy decisions, consumer confidence is returning.

Now, if the rates are cut and consumer confidence is building, this historically means there is more and more of an appetite for individuals to invest in the "risk asset class."

I don't know about you, but I am excited for what 2024 does for cryptocurrency!
